1. Overview
This website is operated by Oak Union Print. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Oak Union Print. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
2. Bespoke and Personalised Goods
As our products (including but not limited to engraved cutting boards, custom wax seals, bespoke rubber stamps, and personalised stationery) are custom-made to your specifications, the following rules apply:
Design Approval: For personalised items, we may provide a digital proof for your approval. It is the customer's responsibility to check all spellings, dates, and design elements. Once approved, we are not liable for any errors present in the final product that were also in the approved proof.
Variations: Due to the artisan nature of our products and the materials used (such as natural oak and premium materials), slight variations in colour, texture, grain, and finish may occur. These natural variations are part of the handcrafted character of our products.
3. Accuracy of Billing and Account Information
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our shop. We reserve the right to limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order.
4. Pricing and Payments
- Prices for our products are subject to change without notice
- All prices are displayed in GBP (£) for UK customers
- Payment must be made in full before production commences for any bespoke order
- We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout
5. Delivery and Lead Times
Production Time: Our products are handcrafted to order. Standard production and delivery lead time is typically 7-10 working days from design approval.
Shipping: Products are dispatched from our Birmingham studio using tracked express services to ensure safe arrival.
International Shipping: International delivery times may vary. Customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes in their country.
6. Returns and Cancellations
Our returns policy is governed by our Return & Refund Policy. Please note:
- Under UK Consumer Rights Act, the right to cancel does not apply to personalised or bespoke goods once production has started
- Standard (non-personalised) items may be returned within 14 days of delivery
- Cancellations must be requested within 12 hours of placing an order, before production begins

7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and designs, is the property of Oak Union Print and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. Custom designs created for your order remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Limitation of Liability
Oak Union Print shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
